V and Quell are set to reenter the DIY live music sphere with the Summer Gothic tour, taking place on the east coast of Australia Dec 26 - Jan 20. Summer Gothic is a postponed celebration of Quell's EP 'Endless,' a preview of V's forthcoming album and a celebration of the return of live music.Playing live at Franks Wild Years are V and Permission (Naarm/Melbourne).

Former Berlin-based musician V plays a reverb-drenched explosion of synthpop, heavily influenced by goth, punk and wave. V's 2019 album 'So Pure' was nominated for best Rock/Punk album at the 2019 Music Victoria Awards. In 2022 V will release 3 Vinyl LPs, with Dero Arcade (Gadigal Country/Sydney), Le Petit Signal (Berlin) and Heavy Machinery Records (Naarm/Melbourne).

Quell (Bensen Thomas) is a producer and sound artist operating with hardware electronics and found sounds to explore noise and dance music tropes as a means of bodily affect. In 2021, Quell released their EP Endless, with Dero Arcade. Endless is a loose exploration of a personal acquaintance with a man of professional violence, and the events that occurred over that time. The result is a blend of industrial clatter, synthetic ambience and angular repetition of EBM rhythms.
