Tired Girl is having a show at her local to celebrate the release of "Song to the Siren" the first taste of her upcoming debut album "Tired". Liz moved to Lyon, France last year, and recorded an 8 track album in her apartment, an old silk factory building from the 17th century. In this romantic setting, with a crappy coffee and buttery croissant in hand Liz felt inspired to cover "Song to the Siren", originally written by Tim Buckley. On her move, Liz took with her a pretty skeletal studio setup. For the Song to the Siren, Liz was challenged by her limited instruments and found creativity in that restriction. The stripped back production aims to emulate the haunted, mesmerising and lonely tones captured by the lyrics.
Tired Girl is joined by Glass, the jangle trio of Melbourne based Andrew Cowie, known for his lofi experimental pop and electronic projects Angel Eyes (Not Not Fun, Bedroom Suck Records) and Matchfixer (Nice Music).
